Progress:
This movie came after another underrated film, The Emperor's New Groove.
That movie was a comedy, so Disney decided to go with an action packed film.
Milo Thatch, a cartographer, buries himself in books trying to unlock the secret to the destruction of Atlantis.
Although his theories are ridiculed by his peers,
he is persistent in his dreams of one day discovering the lost isle.
His dreams are attainable when he is given a spot in an expedition to go in search of Atlantis following Milo's guide: The Shepard's Journal.
However,
the Guardians of Atlantis await the explorers putting them in danger at every turn.
An inexperienced young adventurer becomes the key to unraveling an ancient mystery.
This movie can appeal to any movie watcher so it's disappointing that this film is in the underrated list.
Reflection:
This movie inspires one to go and take an adventure.
It promotes individuality and spirituality.
It also promotes intelligence.
It's okay to be smart.
Many youths nowadays think that being 'smart' isn't cool,
but really, it can provide an amazing advantage for them.
Never be afraid to speak your minds and your ideas.
If Milo didn't, he wouldn't have gone on an amazing expedition to uncover the truth and find love on the way.
He also learns about the importance of family history.
Through Kira, Milo learns that it's important to protect your family and your people, since they're the ones who can give you support when needed.
It's very sad that this movie is so forgotten,
It's an amazing story that teaches you about achieving your dreams even though no one believes in it.

Of course, it's been my experience, when you hit bottom, the only place left to go is up.
