Progress:
My all time favorite Pixar movie.
The movie who's sequel is finally coming out this summer.
The movie who's sequel that will open up in theaters that will be filled up with more teens and adults than children.
The movie that most can quote.
It is the story about two clown fishes and a blue tang.
It is initially a story about a family who is torn apart, but tries its best to reunite.
Along the way, they grow drastically better.
It is a movie that resonates with many types of audiences.
Whether you relate with the relationship between Marlin and Nemo.
Or you connect with Dory since you also have short term memory.
This story is a beautiful story about risk and independence.

Reflection:
Marlin is considered an overly protective father.
However, once Nemo gets capture and he embarks on his journey to reunite with Nemo,
Marlin learns that he needs to take risks in order to save his son.
He learns most of that from Dory.
Since she is so naive and forgetful, she is very carefree.
She isn't cautious, which can get her in trouble, but it proves to be a great lesson for Marlin.
Nemo, on the other hand, learns to be independent for the first time.
He always wanted to be free from his strict dad, but being alone for the first time, Nemo realizes that he might need his father more than he thought.
Marlin and Nemo represents many family relationship in real life.
It is hard to accept that your child is growing up and
one day will have to be free.
But it is a lesson worth learning and it can bring you and your child closer than ever before.
