Progress:
The first ever Disney feature film.
The first ever animated feature film.
The first ever Disney Princess.
The 'original' princess.
This movie is considered culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant.
The story follows Snow White, who lives with her vain and evil step-mother, Queen Grimhilde, also known as The Evil Queen.
The Evil Queen envies Snow White's beauty and makes her work as a maid.
The Queen even keeps a magic mirror and every day she asks, "Who is the fairest one of all?"
One day, the magic mirror replies that Snow White is now the fairest of the land.
Outraged, the Queen orders a huntsman to kill her, but Snow White is sparred and runs into the deep woods.
There she finds a little cottage that actually belongs to seven dwarfs.
The dwarfs accept her since she is able to take care of them and the cottage.
Sooner or later, the Queen finds out the Snow White is still alive and decides that she will go kill Snow herself.
She transform into an old hag and creates a poisoned apple that will put whoever eats it into a sleeping curse that can only be broken by love's first kiss.
She visits the cottage while the dwarfs were out working.
She lures Snow White and tricks her into eating the apple.
Snow White falls into the curse.
Little the Queen know, Snow's animal friends ran off to find the dwarfs and brought them back to the cottage.
The dwarfs chased the Queen, trapping her on a cliff.
She tries to roll a boulder over them, but lighting stroke the cliff, causing her to fall to her death.
The dwarfs return back to the cottage and finds Snow White seemingly dead.
Unwillingly to bury her out of sight, the dwarfs placed her in a glass coffin in a clearing in the forest.
A year later, a prince, who had previously met and fallen in love with Snow White, learns of her eternal sleep and visits her coffin.
Saddened, he kisses her, which breaks the spell and awakens her.
The dwarfs and animals all rejoice as the Prince takes Snow White to his castle to live

Reflection:
Full of jealousy, the Evil Queen had to kill Snow White to become the "fairest one of all."
The Queen never succeeded because the Magic Mirror recognizes Snow White's beauty,
both on the outside AND the inside.
The queen was not and will never be as beautiful as Snow White, NOT because she's less attractive than Snow, BUT because her heart has no speck of kindness whatsoever.
I hate it when people say that Snow White was dumb for letting the old hag into the cottage.
Snow White is known for having a pure and kind heart, so she obviously would help an old lady.
Though it was the Queen in disguise, Snow White didn't know that because she is not one to judge someone by their appearance.
"Ok, but wait Mindy! Wasn't she dumb for eating the apple?"
Yes, actually.
But you can't blame Snow for being naive.
The poor girl was locked up and forced to work as a maid all her life.
Snow was blinded by her dreams of having a better life and finding the love of her life.
She truly believed that that apple was magical.
I mean, her step-mother had magical abilities, so why wouldn't Snow believe in magic?
Snow White taught us how to be kind.
Her innocence and curiosity reminds society to take those qualities into consideration.
It gives us back the youth that we oh so need.
